SURVEILLANCE INVESTIGATORS
Location: Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Hobart
Job Description:
Directly responsible for the completion of field investigations that meet clients' objectives and the company's standards in line with our Five Core Principles. Be available to work cases at any given time during the day or week. Travel on overnight assignments as required. Responsible for obtaining quality video and producing accurate reports and other paperwork. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with the Surveillance Manager.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a result-oriented individual with a professional attitude. A capacity to meet all deadlines and to follow instructions. Outstanding written skills and computer literacy. Demonstrated experience (although training will be provided) and competence in surveillance and the use of video related equipment. Integrity, honesty and commitment to join our professional and ethical organisation.
FACTUAL INVESTIGATORS
Location: Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Hobart
Job Description:
LKA Group is seeking to appoint factual investigators experienced in the conduct of field investigations that meet our standards. Applicants will be required to gather relevant evidence, obtain detailed statements and possess excellent communication, computer and report writing skills.
Qualifications:
Applicants need to be licenced investigators with a professional approach and a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and adhere to instructions. You will be required to operate under a company structure and maintain your own WorkCover policy. We are looking for investigators experienced in the conduct of personal injury, workers compensation, liability and general insurance investigations. Training will be provided to suitable applicants.
PLUMBING ASSESSOR
Location: Melbourne
Job Description:
OUTLINE:
LKA Group provides a growing and dynamic specialist Loss Adjusting service to clients throughout Australia.
A position is currently available at our Melbourne office for a highly experienced Plumber who has a minimum 10 years experience to take on an exciting and demanding role assessing Plumbing Warranty claims. Qualifications as a Master Plumber would be very well regarded.
Significant exposure to Plumbers Warranty claims and complex issues, preferably in an insurance environment, are a pre requisite for this position, as are problem solving and negotiation skills.
The work primarily involves both Domestic and Commercial losses and covers a very wide range of claim types.
The position may involve travel to country areas of Victoria on occasions, but is primarily based in Metropolitan Melbourne.
PERSONAL SKILLS:
• Ability to work independently and in challenging situations • Excellent interpersonal skills and personal presentation • Decisive, lateral thinking ability • Problem solving skills
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
• Extensive, broad based Plumbing knowledge including water, gas fitting, drainage, heating and air conditioning. • Working knowledge of all relevant Plumbing and Building regulations covering plumbing installation and repairs in Victoria. • Ability to interpret relevant regulations • Working knowledge of insurance practices and terminology • Excellent summation and report writing skills • Ability to prepare legal documents including settlement releases • Touch typing minimum 40WPM • Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook • Ability to adapt to our proprietary Claims Management system

SUMMARY:
This challenging position would suit an independent, highly skilled Plumber who is looking for more freedom and challenge in their work environment, while at the same time significantly developing their existing skills in an exciting area of insurance.
The person we are looking for would be a self motivated, highly skilled individual who is willing to participate in a growth phase of our business.
This position is initially offered on a Sub Contract basis where you would be primarily working from home. Favourable terms will be negotiated for the right applicant.

LOSS ADJUSTER
Location: Melbourne
Job Description:
OUTLINE:
LKA Group provides a growing and dynamic specialist Loss Adjusting service to clients throughout Australia.
A position is currently available at our Melbourne office for a highly experienced Loss Adjuster who has a minimum 5-10 years experience in a Loss Adjusting environment, preferably working for a major Loss Adjusting firm.
Significant exposure to complex Material Damage and Liability claims is a pre requisite for this position.
The work primarily involves both Private and Commercial losses, with an emphasis on Liability claims for both property and personal injury, however LKA Group also carries out Loss Adjusting work in a range of other fields including Life Insurance, Building and Plumbing.
Some exposure to Life Insurance products including TPD and Income Protection would therefore be very well regarded for this position, as would any trade qualification such as plumbing or building.
The position may involve travel to country areas of Victoria on occasions, but is primarily based in Metropolitan Melbourne.

FACTUAL INVESTIGATORS
Location: Several Positions - Melbourne, Morwell, Warrnambool, Geelong
Job Description:

We require several Factual Investigators that can undertake investigations and assessments in the areas of transport and workplace injuries, including statement taking and preparing written reports for the client. Requirements include teamwork, positive traits; attitude, goodtime management and exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
The successful applicants should possess the following:
• A background in the investigation of factual / circumstance work • Proven experience in the taking of typed witness statements • High level verbal and written communication skills • Sound analytical skills and the ability to follow guidelines • High level computer skills • Ability to work independently • Good time management and organisational skills • Vehicle and license required
The ideal person will be self-motivated with a positive outlook. Experience in WorkCover, liability or CTP claims is highly desirable. Training in the systems we use will be provided.
