Role: Admin Assistant – Loss Adjusting Department

Salary: Pending experience

Role Type: Full Time – Office based (Carlton)

We are a national professional services firm, and we are looking for a bright and enthusiastic administration assistant to join our team in the Loss Adjusting Department.

About You:

  • In this role, you will be working with the management team in administration and providing support to the loss adjusters. You would be well suited for this role if you take pride in doing great work and you have a passion for high-quality customer service.
  • You will be someone with exceptional time management skills, a solutionist and have an excellent command for written and spoken English.
  • You can work autonomously but also collaborate strategically. Your creativity and innovations will be welcomed.
  • Experience either in the loss adjusting field or as a claims manager with an insurer or broker looking for your next challenge would be an advantage however, not essential.

About the Role: 

  • Be the first point of contact for new files, organise them on our Trackops case management system and allocate them.
  • Apply for FOI reports and conduct preliminary research utilising on-line tools such as Nearmaps and BOM.
  • Produce departmental reports and client reports.
  • Liaise with clients, our team, and suppliers via telephone, email and in person.
  • Have the opportunity to delve into loss adjusting across property, liability and other specialty areas for which support and training will be provided.
  • Assist with quality assurance of reports and drafts.
  • Be invited to attend training days, seminars and other industry functions.
