Role: Loss Adjuster – Property

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Commercial/Strata Property Loss Adjuster to join our team. You will be someone with excellent management skills; a team player who is solution-focussed and ready to try new things. Someone who can work autonomously but who also likes to share their learnings and wins with their team. Your creativity and ideas will be welcomed. We are looking for the perfect addition to our LKA family: someone who will hit the ground running but also build on their skills and knowledge, share the same and will embody our core values and client-focussed ethos. Ideally you will have 2 years of previous loss adjusting experience.
In this role you will:
- Maintain a manageable portfolio of matters from client instruction to finalisation including;
- Attending site and taking photographs/measurements;
- Arranging quotations and instructing experts;
- Providing policy response recommendations including recovery, contribution and salvage;
- Liaise and manage claim expectations with all parties from suppliers, experts, insureds, brokers, claimants and insurers.
- Gather required information utilising online tools, authorities, agents, solicitors etc;
- Complete the highest quality reports utilising Microsoft Office 360;
- Be a model advocate of LKA Group through industry interactions.

LKA Group is a national professional services firm, with teams conducting loss adjusting, workplace, workers compensation, surveillance, and fraud investigations. We even have our own training organisation. We are looking for an experienced commercial property (including Strata) loss adjuster to join our team in Melbourne.
An LKA loss adjuster prides themselves on providing niche solutions for clients that range from large insurers, solicitors and government departments to private industry. We support each other through teamwork and although we are given the freedom and flexibility to work from home or our modern Carlton based office, we regularly catch up at meetings and attend industry events.
